Jewelry Care
Our jewelry is made
with the finest quality materials and each piece is meant to remain beautiful throughout the years, as well as to withstand
normal child’s play. As with your child’s fine clothing, the better you take care of the jewelry, the better it
will look over time. Properly maintained silver improves with time and proper care of your jewels will provide you with a
long life and lustrous appearance. Below are some tips to keep your jewelry beautiful:
1. Clean with a small amount of mild detergent and warm water solution and pat dry with a
soft cloth. To remove severe tarnish, use dry sterling silver polishing cloths to gently wipe the sterling beads. Never rub
silver with anything other than a polishing cloth or fine piece of felt. The use of tissue paper or paper towels can cause
scratches due to the fibers in these products.
2.
Never drop
bracelet in liquid sterling silver cleaner, especially if the jewelry contains pearls. Pearls can be permanently damaged by
this type of cleaner.
3.
Never wear
sterling silver jewelry in the pool or hot tub. Depending on the amount and type of chemicals in the water, exposure to pool
water can tarnish or damage sterling silver, and may weaken the stainless steel wire with which the jewelry is strung.
4.
Store jewelry in a
cool, dry area. Preferably in an airtight container or wrapped in a soft piece of cloth when not wearing. Don’t expose
to air and light when storing, this will cause silver to tarnish.
